As part of our ongoing system maintenance and lifecycle management efforts, we are planning to upgrade the application servers from Amazon Linux 2 to Amazon Linux 2023.

Before proceeding with this upgrade, we request you to kindly:
i. Verify application compatibility with Amazon Linux 2023.
ii. Share any specific dependencies or configurations that may be impacted by the OS change.
iii. Confirm if any testing or validation is required from your end prior to the upgrade.
iv. Also note that In-place upgrade is not supported from Amazon Linux 2 to Amazon Linux 2023.

Yes - EPC is compatible with Linux 2023. As you suggested, it is not possible to upgrade from Amazon 2. The solution would be to set up a new server, reconfigure EPC Application to it and decommission the old Server. Note that we have tested and Amazon Linux 2023 is of course compatible with EPC.

The pre-requisites for this Server remains the same as the old Server. The docker-compose and 7zip is required on the Server before we install.
