Can multiple Users simultaneously work on a same object?

Suppose there is a specific process and several Users are working on it at the same time – How will the EPC Application make sure the data is saved correctly? And will not one User hamper another Users’ progress? How does the application handle this scenarion?

To avoid conflict between two users potentially editing the same object, any user editing an object (process, risk, rule, role etc.) in EPC locks it for all other users. Anyone trying to click on a functionality that can’t be accessed if the object is locked (Merge, Move, Copy, Delete, Reference, Localize etc) will receive a message informing that the object is currently being edited by another user.
